weekend
The wedding was Saturday. I got up at 5:45 so that I could be
showered, have picked up Starbucks and be at bride's mom's house down
in the city by 7. I did wear my cute little shoes. This was the closest picture to them. So you get the idea.
The rain finished out before we got to the church. It was still
overcast, but dry. Beautiful cool weather for the wedding.
Bride looked absolutely amazing. Wedding went off just fine.
After wedding, with the weather cooperating, we went to the botanical garden for pictures.
Now I like my shoes. I really do. I just don't think that
there are ANY heels which are good for standing up in for almost an
hour and then walking all the way to the japanese garden in. And
yes, I just ended my sentence in a preposition. And I have
blisters. There are some things you shouldn't ask of heels.
I can only hope the bride accepts my apology for my face being an oil
slick in her pictures. Oh yeah, and all the leg showing I was
doing. But if you look at my history, it was very mild.
The whole event was very nice. Which sounds sorta lame, but it was nice.
Today the fam went to Pirate Fair.
It was nice, but my feet aren't 100% just yet. Anywho, we are
thinking of being a family of pirates for Halloween now.

Any paicular reason you dogged us. My kids were extremly dissapointed in the fact that you felt it neccesary to go without us even though it was OUR idea.
We went and had a better time without YOU. We dd miss the kids though.
