Not so random thoughts

When someone dies, there will always be regrets.  The things you could have said or done for them.  And then I start to think about how I could do that for all the people around me who are still here.  But how do you do that?

If you know that a specific person's time is limited, you can give them the time and part of yourself.  How would you spread that around to everyone?  How would you have any reserves left for yourself?  And can it be maintained indefinately?

I don't think so.  Perhaps this is where people do volunteer work.  Perhaps it helps them somewhat with the thoughts of 'I could have done this or said that'.  I don't know.  I'm not even sure what I am trying to say.

Tempe - I am so sorry that you and your family are experiencing this loss. Even though you said you weren't sure what you were trying to say, you said it very eloquently. You are all in my daily thoughts and prayers.
