Check out what my mom is getting me for my birthday. This sweater kit. In these
colors. You will note that the sweater is shapeless and
boxy. I think this is probably for the best for my first
colorwork sweater. Besides, a nice big bulky sweater is a comfy
thing. I should be able to show you pictures of my work in about
three years.
Because I spend my days stalking knitting prey across the internet, I
will share with you other things I drool over. Isn't this
the most gorgeous rich looking sweater you've ever seen?! It
would take me five years. Not to mention the $170 price
tag. Pre shipping costs from Great Britain. Let me assure you
that I don't spend that much on clothes. Of course, you also have
to figure in the five years of entertainment from making it. And I have
the feeling that if I actually wore it, it would wash me out. But
I love it. Someday.

This would be a 10 year project. Plus the pattern doesn't come
with the yarn kit. You need the book. Which is out of print.
But yeah, I'm boring.
