This is disturbing me. Lately, I don’t feel that I have had anything to surf the web for. I read everyone’s web logs, check my stock price, and I’m done. There has to be something else, but I can’t think of it.
For the sake of family and friends, I braved Wal-Mart the day after Thanksgiving. Not feeling that I had suffered enough, I went to the mall on Saturday. I now feel the suffering.
In our house, I do all the shopping and wrapping of gifts, and Ben earns the money for them. He does also tell me that I am awesome. I think it’s just to make sure I won’t stick him with any shopping.

Thanksgiving Day. I baked for several hours last night to get ready. For some reason, I have not been having much luck with pies lately. Last year I made a pumpkin pie in such a hurry that I forgot to add sugar. Just in case you are wondering, it doesn’t look any different. There was no way of knowing until you took a bite. Pumpkin pie without sugar is pretty disgusting.

It’s the most amazing thing. Here I didn’t pay bills, and always felt as if we didn’t have any money, which didn’t make sense. I just couldn’t figure out where it went. So, for the month of November so far, I’ve been paying bills, and have money coming out the wazoo. Terribly odd how it works out.
Well, I had considered putting up the Christmas lights today, as the weather is so nice. I have serious issues with people who put up their decoration too early. Plants again! For Christmas this year, I am giving as many co-workers as I can handle their own spider plant in a pot painted by moi. As many as I can handle means as many pots as I can purchase (you would be amazed at how quickly Lowe’s and Home Depot clear them out) and as many spider plant runners I can beg off of Melf.

Ben and I went to Jess and Allen’s for dinner tonight. This was our first official invite since they moved into their apartment. Actually, Allen moved into their apartment right away. Jess waited until she could find a replacement home for her dog, Reggie. So Jess hasn’t lived there for quite a full week.
It’s always nice to go to someone’s home and steal their plants....
