I am a sad, weak person. I got verklempt just watching the kids ahead of us in line. It’s a good thing Becca started crying, or I would have been bawling like an idiot. I must work on getting back my ice core.
Due to the delightful weather, Ben and I put up the Christmas lights on the house today. For someone on the first day of his vacation, Ben has been very busy. This morning, I went out to do some spot raking, prior to mowing the lawn with the mulching mower (so good for the environment) to remove leaves. Normally, I just do the mower, but I had let too many leaves land undisturbed for it to look...
