More Progress
Magnus just made it from a prone position to sitting on his own.
We think Dougie did it earlier today, but we didn’t witness the
occurence. I may have sat him up when I went through the
room. I have no recollection of this.

Christmas
Christmas was good in our house. The boys went to sleep near
their usual times on Christmas Eve. Becca was overly
excited. It took her over two hours once she went to bed to go to
sleep.
Becca’s favorite toy seems to be the cheap bubbles. We overdid it
for her a bit. She was done opening presents before they were all
gone. We have put the extras aside for her birthday. No

Progress
It appears that the cause of Magnus’ ear infection is his TWO new
teeth. All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth.
C’mon and sing along with us. You couldn’t even see them because
every time he opens his mouth, he sticks his tongue out. Dougie,
you can see his gums. He looks to be working on them, but they
aren’t here yet.

Slight Repreive
It turns out that Dougie is doing the barking cough because of the
MASSIVE amount of snot draining down his throat. Yes, that would
be sinus infection number two for him. Magnus has ear infection
number three. The plus side is that neither is contagious.
That means Christmas is back on. Which, darnit, means I have to
go grocery shopping and get our ham and other fun stuff.

Hack Hack, or is that Bark Bark
I’ve known people with kids, who every time you talk to them, the kids
are sick. I have always wondered what is wrong with these
people. With just Becca, we had colds and ear infections with
teething, and occasionally the rare other item of some kind, which
always passed quickly. Know, i don’t think we have had a day
since the beginning of October where someone isn’t snotty....
Cookies and other things
I made candy cane cookies last night. The kind where you dye half
the dough red and twist them together. A bit labor
intensive. So I am sitting at the table, rolling out snakes of
red and white dough. Becca keeps wanting dough. She pounds
it flat and mummifies it in flour. I offer her some Play
Dough. She accepts. I have to remove the lid from each can
as she hands it to me, but no...
Narnia
I sent Ben to see Narnia tonight, telling him it was awesome. He
came home and told me the best part of the movie was the popcorn and
getting out of the house. He hated the movie! Such a shame
that he is going to BURN IN HELL!
Movie
Ben and I have recently started going to the movies. One of us
picks an evening and after the boys are asleep, generally before 8,
goes out. Yes it would be nice for us to go together, but it just
isn’t going to happen anytime soon. There is also the added bonus
of not discussing your kids the whole time you are out.

Manners
Becca says Thank You. She has been for almost a year. It
started when Ben was letting her play with jars of nickels I had
saved. She would dump out the entire jar, spread it around and
then start handing us some coins. We would say thank you whenever
she put some in our hands. As she likes passing them out, thank
you was said a lot. She started saying it whenever she would hand

Toys
Magnus is very into a drum that we had from Becca. It is a
Fisher-Price baby drum. It plays music when you hit it. I can’t find
it online to show you, but oh well. So today he is way into it,
turning it over, examining it closely and happily playing with it.
Dougie just sits there and watches him. I pull out Becca’s old Leap

Animal COntrol update
AV is now cleared. I have to call a vet and schedule him for his shots.
Speaking of painting, if you were going to take the trouble to paint in
the first place, as well as installing crown molding, wouldn’t you
remove the outlet covers first? This chick painted around them
and then painted the outlet covers themselves to match the white
trim. A new outlet cover is about 20 cents. Why...
Painting and other things
The people we bought this house from like to paint. The living
room is RED. Red clashes with my hair. It will be going
soon. For right now, it is festive, so maybe in January. Of
course, who am I kidding? I haven’t gotten to any of the stuff I
want to do in the seven months we’ve been here.

I played Diablo 2 last night. I had to purchase a new game to do
so, but it is so worth it. We bought our copies of D2 on release
day. They weren’t making the hybrid versions then. Our LoD
