On a side note, today is 25 weeks. My ob said the average delivery with twins is 35 weeks, he would try to get me to 37, but wasn’t highly optimistic. That means that we could reasonably be at 10 weeks and counting.
I haven’t even ‘officially’ started the diabetic diet, but i know what I should stay away from. No fun. I have already started a ‘hospital foods’ list on my desktop. All foods that I will be purchasing before I go for my c-section. Not that I will be able to eat them until the next day, but I am already getting excited. I could really scarf down some fig newtons...

Of the four blood draws that were done with the 3 hour GTT, I was over the limit on two of them. Due to the fact that your blood sugars run higher the further you get into the pregnancy, and with two babies, I being put on the diabetic diet. It was baby doctor appt time today. It was also time for me to do the three hour glucose tolerance test (GTT). Funny is when your husband asks you, completely serious, ‘I’m going to be 31 on my birthday, right?’, said birthday being 2 days away. I started laughing. He asked me to subtract 2005 from 1974 so he would know how old he is. Again, completely serious. I made him wait a good 15 minutes before I would tell him. It’s bad when you don’t know your own age.

My child has a severe shoe obsession. Becca has three pairs of shoes that fit her right now, as well as one pair of snow boots. The snow boots are pink. The three pairs of shoes are: 1) plain white sneakers with velcro closures 2) pink sparkly converse-looking lace-ups that match mine 3) shiny black mary janes.
