8-tracks
Is there anyone out there interested in 8-track tapes?  Or should our collection (over two milkcrates) go to Goodwill?

Thoughts
I have recently discovered this website.  After looking at these, I feel good about myself.  Not yet ready to wear a bikini, out in public or even in private, but better. After Becca, all I finished up with was a c-section scar, which was not on display for the public, and a little tiny pot, such as what Madonna had for years.  There had been of few stretchmarks, but they were on the underside of...

1st birthday gift
This will now be my standard gift for a child’s first birthday.  Both boys love to play with it as does Becca. If you are invitied to any birthday parties that I am also invited to, you may not steal my gift idea.

The time has come for booster seats
Several weeks ago, the boys demostrated that they were fully capable of detaching the tray from their high chairs while they were seated and flinging them across the room.  We removed the trays, lowered the high chairs and started putting their food on the table. This has worked well.  Until this weekend.  The boys have now demonstrated that they are fully capable of sliding the high...

Reunion
I will shortly be requiring shopping assistance for reunion wear.  I will be accepting applications either here or through email.

Material things repaired
During that huge electrical storm we had about a month ago, my bedroom tv was fried.  This was bad, as I sleep better with the constant noise and the bit of light is good for when Becca comes down to our room. About 1 1/2 years ago, my Mickey lamp stopped working. While I was out Saturday night, my wonderful hubby opened up the tv.  He found the bad fuse and replace it on Sunday.  He...

Privates
I have been wondering since the boys were born when Becca would notice and ask about the difference between boy privates and girl privates. It was last night. Per Becca, the difference is that boy privates have a tail.

Slingshot
In Japan. One day, my friend’s brother found a store off-base which had slingshots and these little colored balls that would explode under pressure.  Not the kind that pop when you just drop them.  You would have to grind these heavily under your foot.  They came back with several slingshots and many bags of the poppers. We spent almost an hour shooting them against the side of one of the...

Truckload
Around 2am, Becca decided that our bed was more comfy than hers.  She made only one trip down the hall to our room.  With her she brought 3 cabbage patch dolls and 1 teddy, who is the same size of the cabbage patch dolls. I am impressed. And the boys’ wet morning diapers are some of the stinkiest things that can be found.

Cleaning habits
When I was younger my room was a Grade A mess.  I recall one time when my brothers and I were getting ready to make our summer trip to visit our da.  My mom was going to go and visit friends and family at the same time.  I stayed up late the night before cleaning my room.  I felt that it looked clean to me.  Even now, trying to recall what it looked like when we left, it still doesn’t seem...

Emergency room
Everyone was outside playing this afternoon.  Magnus went up to the play house and was having fun opening the door, waving, turning around and closing the door from the inside.  One of those times, he went to step inside and fell down.  Crying commenced.  Becca rushed over and closed the door and the shutters. When retrieving the crying child, he was found to be bloody.  Poor guy cut his lip on...

Waste of minimal money
I picked up some flash cards for Becca to play with, seeing as how she is reading off everything she can see.  Not as a pressuring parent type of thing.  More as a game thing.  And at least that way, I thought I could have her look at those in the car instead of rude bumber stickers that I would rather she not read. These are the flash cards I got.  She just went through the whole box, flipping...
