This crappy diet gets worse as time goes on. I was told to call if I was having high blood sugars. My sugars one hour after meals is supposed to be below 140. Twice last week they were in the 150s after I ate food that worked fine for me previously. So I call. Now I am being punished. I am supposed to cut out my milk at breakfast and my fruit at dinner.
This morning I had one crappy pancake, made from Bisquik light with skim milk. I put some sugar-free jam on it as well as sugar-free syrup. Both things are permitted and were not used to excess. My blood sugar? 163. The dietician had said that it just gets worse as the pregnancy progresses. Pretty soon I will only be allowed to eat salads, if I am lucky.
Water-weight swelling is an interesting thing. I can dent my legs, which is pretty cool. However, need I go into detail about how nasty it is to walk across a room and feel your feet jiggle?
Rebecca is over 7 pounds now. Perhaps it would be better for her if she would go ahead and be born.
