Hack Hack, or is that Bark Bark

I’ve known people with kids, who every time you talk to them, the kids are sick.  I have always wondered what is wrong with these people.  With just Becca, we had colds and ear infections with teething, and occasionally the rare other item of some kind, which always passed quickly.  Know, i don’t think we have had a day since the beginning of October where someone isn’t snotty.

All the kids have had colds again.  We had maybe a one day break from the last one before this one started.  Of course, the kids couldn’t be bothered to coordinate their one day together.  It has just seemed like a standard runny nose cold.  The boys have been coughing rather hoarsly in the mornings, but I’ve just put that down to drainage after lying down all night.

Around 11 am today, Dougie started coughing like a barking seal.  The boys now have drs appts at 5:40.  It appears to be croup.  This should make a Merry Christmas for us.  I don’t think anyone will want to risk catching this from our kids.  At least Santa will be visiting with a decent haul for Becca.  The boys won’t be getting much, just one thing from Santa and one from Mommy and Daddy, but they certainly won’t notice the lack.
