Becca fell asleep last night at 7:30.  Consequently, she decided it was time to start the day at 5 am.  This is not always a bad thing.  Just about always, but not a given.  I have Fox news on in the morning.  Yes, I know that they aren’t a popular news source, but I like the fact that they stick with local news in the morning.  I get rather tired of seeing Katie and Al and the others making stupid jokes while giving me news about a woman who picked her nose in North Dakota.

Anywho, Tim Ezell with Fox is spending the morning at a hair-cutting salon.  In O’Fallon.  Missouri, not Illinois.  Generally, not terribly interesting.  This time it was.  It’s a salon called ‘The Hairy Elephant’.  It’s for kids.  They have a good-sized p lay area while they wait their turn.  They can lay down on a table to get their hair washed, so that it doesn’t hurt their neck (I’d like that myself) and then the barber chairs are little cars and airplanes that they sit in and play with the steering wheel, etc. while their hair is cut.  I didn’t know such a place existed.  I’m pretty stoked.  I just hope they don’t go out of business before it’s time for Becca’s first haircut.
