Generally, if you are driving around in your car, eyeballing people’s front yards, you wouldn’t stop and have an argument with them over their lawn, if it wasn’t to your liking.  So why is it considered okay to go around to peoples websites to pick fights?  Yes it is public.  Yes, you are invited to leave comments.  No, (except in a few rare cases) you are not invited to start fights.  If a person really gets your goat, don’t go there anymore.

I am tired of seeing this.  I don’t read hardly any blogs because of this.  If you are a person who wants to argue/debate all the time, do it on your own blog.

Another thing.  When I do see these things happening, I can’t help but notice that the person/visitor to the blog accuses the writer of the blog of something which the visitor themselves is clearly doing, in that very comment.  Perhaps it is a good general rule to proof your comment for more than just spelling and grammar.
