Today being cycle day 3, I called the office this morning, as instructed, to schedule a blood-work appt. The chick who answered the phone was going all over the calender to find a spot for me to come in. When I talked to the cycle-coordinator previously, I asked if it was a problem if I brought Becca along with me for the blood-work appt. She said no, but that I may want to have a babysitter for the fluid ultrasound one. Fine. So I end up being scheduled for blood draw today at 2:40 and fluid ultrasound Thursday at 12:40. I had planned to drop Becca off with Ben for the fluid ultrasound. I get there, and wait a bit. They call me back to the blood draw room. We stand there watching Becca for a bit. They tell me that I will be getting the fluid ultrasound today. Since the chick on the phone this morning told me that it is usually done cycle day 5-10, I was a bit confused. Not to mention, as I said earlier, today is cycle day 3. I said, ‘Won’t that be a bit messy?’. No problem, according to them. Thank god I decided to shower this morning. Unfortunately, I decided to not shave my legs until Thursday. Oops.

To conclude, it is not easy to get an internal ultrasound done with a 35 lb baby sitting on your lap.
