Our drs office does two betas (blood tests).  They don’t give you the results until after the second one.  This is so they have an idea of how things are progressing before they present it to you.  Last time, with Becca, the dr himself called on the day of the first test to let us know we were knocked up.  The office is WAY busier now.  I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t have the chance. 

Tomorrow is the first beta.  I could, in theory, call them in the afternoon and have them go ahead and give me the results.  The second test is on Monday.  I’m being a bit of a chicken about this.  If I call before Monday, and the number is really low, or it is too early and a negative, do I really want to know?  Maybe I will just get lucky and someone will decide to call me anyhow.
