Slight Repreive
It turns out that Dougie is doing the barking cough because of the
MASSIVE amount of snot draining down his throat. Yes, that would
be sinus infection number two for him. Magnus has ear infection
number three. The plus side is that neither is contagious.
That means Christmas is back on. Which, darnit, means I have to
go grocery shopping and get our ham and other fun stuff.
After the dr made the boys’ diagnosis, she asked me if I have time to
eat. I sortof shrugged. She told me that I need to take
time for myself or I wouldn’t be doing my children any good.
Apparently I look like total crap today. hehe
I can now tell when Dougie has a poopy diaper from another room.
No, unlike Becca’s at that age, it isn’t audible. Dougie fills
his diaper and then starts talking in a cute soft little voice.
‘a dhah a dhah’ I think it is a defense
mechanism. This way, you spend the diaper change thinking of how
cute he is being, instead of trying to think of ways to potty train a 6
month old.
It’s pretty funny when you put the boys in their stroller. Right
now we have the seats facing each other. We will have to change
that soon, as they are running out of leg room. Anyhow, I put
toys on the trays in front of each boy. The same toys. I
can watch the boys take turns actually holding on to their toy and
reaching over with their other hand to take their brother’s same toy
away. For entertainment, place a bottle (it can be empty) on the
floor. Place both boys on the floor. Watch them take turns
rolling around hugging the bottle as they steal it back and
forth.
