boys

We just got back from the ultrasound. The twins are healthy 11 ounce (each) boys!  Both placentas are anterior, which would explain why I’m not feeling too much activity.  They are both transverse, with their heads pointing in the same direction.  Unfortunately, they aren’t evenly lined up, so baby B has his butt on baby A’s head.

According to the Pregnancy week-by-week book, the babies should now be weighing approximately 7 ounces each at this point.  They wouldn’t get up to the 11 ounce point for a few more weeks.  The dr. and the ultrasound tech both said their weights were right where they should be.  Not quite making sense to me, but oh well.
