The house officially went on the market today.  The For Sale sign went in the yard at 2pm.  When the agent came by for Ben to do his share of signing at 6, there had already been a call to see the house.  Too bad.  No showings until Saturday.  We are having Open House on Saturday and Sunday.  New carpet is being installed in the hallway and family room tomorrow.

Merry Maids gave me a quote for cleaning my house.  $281  Not going to happen.  I asked to have my house cleaned, not gilded.  I called someone our agent recommended.  She will be here Friday morning.  $60.  I will pay that standing on my head, if it weren’t likely that I will fall over and hurt myself.

I also watched someone stop and take a flyer on the house while I was over talking to my neighbor.  This bodes well.
